the process

The mockups were created for a presentation to pitch design work. We were tasked to apply heavy strategic work for a nationally renown baking company. The research led to a variety of recommendations, that we put into design comps for our final deliverable.

design goals

The main purpose of the presented designs was to highlight some of the client pain-points with how the user-flow is being hindered on their website currently. The strategy team created a list of those points, and using analytical data and competitive research, were able to make recommendations that we put into designed prototypes.

Beyond keeping in line with their brand standards, and utilizing existing components where possible, we also presented the idea of an application within the recipe page, as a step-by-step instruction of the recipe to get rid of the rest of the clutter on the page once the user has decided to dive in and start cooking.
