the project

Working through user-research, wireframing and finishing with a design that modernized the JHU brand, we created an internal portal to streamline the complexities involved with managing insurance-specific requests.

process

Starting with a variety of stakeholder interviews, and comprehensive analysis of their data, and current internal communications, we established an itemized list of priorities, needs and wants for the new portal

Wireframing was done in Axure, where a component library was established to streamline the varying templates within the platform. We created a dashboard portal homepage, and a handful of interior templates, along with a general page template for additional pages to be added after hand-off.

Once the wireframing was completed, the timeline was enhance and we needed a quick turn around for the designs. It was determined with the team at SAI Digital that I was familiar enough with Axure, and the JHM branding, that we would be able to accomplish the designs by dressing up the Axure file and adding in the branding.

You heard that right. A full design in Azure!
